Since I was 15 years old, I’ve participated in a peculiar activity known as “Drum & Bugle Corps”.
I was introduced to the activity in October of 1972, and the Blue Devils, by one of my best friends, Bob Lee (R.I.P). Bob played trombone in the College Park High School Marching Band, and he told me that “I had” to join the Blue Devils (whom I had never seen), so he took me to a rehearsal, and changed my life forever!
My involvement in these corps will be fleshed out in following pages, as there is a LOT of material to cover in each of them, but for now, here’s just a quick overview:
